Lanzhou New Area Big Data Centre is located in Lanzhou New Area, the fifth state-level new area and an important node city of ‘One Belt, One Road’, which is in the geometric centre of the national land map, with significant traffic and location advantages, multi-line access and international Internet channels, and is the core area of the data centre of the Silk Road Information Port in Gansu Province. The centre's construction plan covers an area of 657,000 square meters, with a total number of 300,000 racks, and is built in three phases according to the national A-class and T3+ standards. Now it has become the carrying place of the province's ‘digital government’, supercomputing alliance and Lanzhou New Area's ‘multimodal transport’ platform, and it has the capability to undertake the deployment of ‘East counts and West counts’ and the national arithmetic power of a rest, data disaster recovery and backup, cloud computing and other businesses.
